T H E P A R A G O N What is the Paragon? It is a signpost What does the Paragon offer? Assistance on the path to the Kingdom of Heaven. In what way? Detailed directions along the way. Such as? Read the Paragon and find out! Until you access the Paragon, know that it points the way through the Epistles, Prophecies and Gospels which are taken from the Holy Bible. It provides accounts of the lives and deeds of those who, in obedience and love of God and for their salvation, by breath or by blood, renounced this temporal life and were granted, in exchange, Eternal Life in Paradise. It also offers detailed methods of navigation provided by God Himself freely given directly to the heart, tongues and pens of His zealous followers. Concerning difficulty understanding certain Epistles and Gospels If you believe God, then you know He is omniscient and you therefore trust Him void of doubt or question! The Holy Trinity knew we would disfigure His image in us, in our intellect and so on, before He created us, hence, although our misaligned minds have problems with comprehension, He instructs the soul directly toward salvation, according to its needs, and when we totally reject the author of lies, Satan, and detach our heart and mind from sleep in mammon, then our entire being awakens. And when the awakened one follows Christ with genuine love and sincere desire for healing, it is transfigured, resurrects, and ascends out of the darkness of disfigurement of mortality into the Eternal Light of God. Reflect, contemplate and know who He is speaking to when He offers the command: "Physician, heal thyself" Isn't the voice the small Christ within us, warming our hearts? Can't Admit It?  An Athonite ascetic used to say: In attempting to control one's mind, which is very difficult to do because of temptation, it is very helpful to study the writings from the blessed fathers and mothers, especially if this study is done before prayer. |
